What is GEAR UP?
GEAR UP (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs) is a U.S. Department of Education grant program housed at Delta State University.
Our goal is to help students prepare for, get into, and succeed in college through strong school, family, and community partnerships.
Through the MS Delta GEAR UP Partnership, students in grades 10 and 11 benefit from:
Tutoring & academic support
College & career readiness activities
Mentoring and guidance
College campus visits
ACT preparation
Dual enrollment opportunities
Family workshops and resources
