We are reaching out to inform you of a recent situation regarding a gas leak identified at O.M. McNair Middle School. Atmos Gas has detected a leak originating from a gas meter and pipe unions on our premises. In response to this urgent matter, the gas lines have been safely turned off by Atmos Gas, which has resulted in the temporary shutdown of gas services to the school buildings.
Please be assured that the safety and well-being of our students and staff are our top priorities. The school district is currently coordinating with a licensed plumber to assess the situation and carry out necessary repairs as quickly as possible.
