Beginning with the 2025–2026 school year, Mississippi has raised the expectations for school and district academic performance. Schools and districts must now meet more rigorous criteria to earn A–F letter grades. To support clear communication around these changes, the Mississippi Department of Education has developed resources to help families, community members, and the media understand what has changed, why it matters, and what to expect when accountability grades are released in fall 2026.
Please be assured that the Humphreys County School District remains committed and is actively working to improve student outcomes and increase overall test performance.
